I am proud of my accomplishments to date and look forward to accomplishing more in life. I recently chose to complete my Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Degree at the University of Prince Edward Island to compliment my past professional achievements. I believe that learning is a life long gift and challenge myself to obtain new skills which will enrich my personal and professional objectives.
I believe in happiness and employee engagement. I have experienced true employee engagement during my experience at Walt Disney World. I am looking for a career that will complete me and reflect my personal values.
I believe in honesty, trust and respect. Both personal and professional relationships are strengthened when these three aspects are present.
I believe in human rights and legislation that protects the rights of individuals.
I believe that a person should not only be recognized for their weaknesses or areas that need to be improved, but also acknowledged for their strengths and accomplishments. We are taught to praise children when they are being good so the good behavior will be repeated. We should practice this more in our personal and professional lives because only providing attention to a person when they are doing wrong may not necessarily correct the undesired behavior.
I believe in helping other people.
I believe in workplace wellness and work/life balance. The demands of today’s society has reduced the boundaries of work and personal time which can impact family life and have a negative impact on an individual’s health.
I believe open and effective communication is a necessity to strengthen the communication process.
